The light that the Actinic fluorescent tube emits, attracts many insects. This is due to the fact that the light fits perfectly with the eye sensitivity of flies. The Philips Actinic fluorescent lamp has a T8 (TL-D) size and is equipped with a G13 base. Furthermore, the tubes are available in multiple sizes (59cm, 45cm, 40cm and 60cm) and has a lifespan that can go up to 13.000 hours.
